He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Saurman of Lemoyne, Pa.; son, Ernest Dierich, Jr. of Arizona; sister, Doris Hoover of Camp Hill, Pa.; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
An informal memorial service will be held Friday at Stone and Murray Funeral Home, Third Street, New Cumberland, Pa. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery near his boyhood home.
