Groups partner for literacy project

The Homer Emblem No. 350 has just completed our "Battle of the Books" program by providing all the lower Kenai Peninsula Schools with books for the students participating in this year's statewide challenge.

We would like to recognize the following organizations for their generosity in partnering with the Homer Emblem Club No. 350 this year and supporting our efforts to furnish this resource for our youth: American Legion Post 16; Kachemak Bay Rotary Club of Homer; Kachemak Bay Lions; and Sons of the American Legion.

Please thank any member of one of these wonderful organizations for their added support.
