We the people of the city of Homer have a unique and magnificent place to live. I feel blessed to be a part of this area. I also feel it is extremely important to have elected individuals who are shaping the future of our city and area have an understanding of the responsibilities they undertake.

Val McLay is such an individual. He and his family have lived here and made their livelihood here for years. Val McLay has an impeccable reputation as an honest and trustworthy individual. He has proven to me several times that he is responsible and respects people's rights.
