On behalf of Hospice of Homer, I want to thank the Kenai Peninsula United Way (KPUW) for its generous allocation to hospice. Hospice of Homer is pleased to receive United Way support again this year. Also, thank you to Tina Marie Herford, executive director, KPUW as well as all the volunteers involved in the United Way process including the United Way Board of Directors and the allocation committee. Anyone who has every served on a board or a committee knows how much dedication and time it takes. In addition, Hospice of Homers wants to thank all the UW contributors especially those who designated their monies go to HOH.

As a volunteer hospice organization, donations are extremely important. They allow HOH to continue to provide quality supportive services to residents of the southern Kenai Peninsula as they experience a life-threatening illness or the transition process of dying.
