Homer Middle School's Huskies cross country team streaked to an impressive finish at a meet in Kenai Sept. 18. Coach Annie Peel said their competition included teams from Kenai, Soldotna, Cook Inlet Academy, Aurora Borealis and Seward. Following are results: Girls: Menalie Mastolier, third; Hannah Baird, ninth; Pam Jantzi, 10th; Mattea Peters, 11th; Jenna Fabich, 15th; and Emma Everett, 38th. Boys: Brandon Beachy, ninth; Drew Brown, 12th; Clem Tillion, 14th; Wylie Donich, 18th; Nahoa Jette, 22nd; Jonas Noomah, 30th; Mike Downing, 34th; Riley Alston, 35th; Jonny Hamilton, 36th; J. J. Sonnen, 38th.
