Pet of the Week

Nobody knows why she was shot or by whom. But this 1-year-old husky was found on somebody's doorstep, covered in blood and with multiple buckshot wounds. Homer Animal Friends paid for her emergency trip to the vet and now she's recovering as well as can be expected. Otherwise, this dog is very sweet and quiet, even a little shy, and she's going to need a loving hand to help her trust people again. While she recovers, Homer Animal Friends is seeking donations to help foot the bill for her medical care and for other unfortunate animals who also need emergency help.
