A visitation is from 2-4 p.m. Sept. 29, 2006, at the Engebretsen residence in Anchor Point. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Richard in the Anchor Point Cemetery. Memorial services are 7 p.m., Saturday, 2006. at the Lighthouse Community Assembly of God Church in Anchor Point. Pastor David Edwards will officiate.

Emergency medical technicians went to eight calls.
Sept. 21
Firefighters at 6:30 p.m. went to a structure fire at Mile 4 Basargin Road. Upon arrival crews found the building to be completely on fire. Firefighters stood by while a bulldozer driver made a fire break around the building. The cause remains under investigation.
Sept. 24
Firefighters at 11:12 a.m. went to a chimney fire at a house on Fernwood Drive. The fire did not spread beyond the stove pipe. Firefighters checked to make sure the fire had not spread. The fire department reminds people to check and clean their stove pipes. Brushes are available to borrow for free at the fire hall 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
