And a pair of Mariners narrowly missed a chance at state.
Garrett Hoanin finished 28th and Maggie McCarron finished 23rd to lead the Mariners.
The top fifteen individuals and top three teams go to state.
“It was a good final race for everyone,” said Mariner Head Coach Paul Gutzler. “Several seniors completed their last race.”
Erika Klaar, Jude Murphy, Katie Arsenault, Ben Hawkins, Peter Walsworth, Colin McCarthur, Kristin Vantrease, Levi Ryan, Simeon Daigle and Garrett Hoanin will graduate this year.
“It will be impossible to replace (them), but we have a lot of young runners returning and a strong group of kids at the middle school,” said Gutzler.
