Salem Geysbeek was born at 1:15 a.m. Sept. 18, 2011, at South Peninsula Hospital, to Hope and Corey Geysbeek of Homer. He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces. His grandparents are Lynn and Ramona Star of Homer and Lee and Jan Geysbeek of Michigan.
