Fund-raiser set for sports facility

The Central Peninsula Sports Facility committee invites the public to an informational fund-raiser at The Crossing Restaurant in Soldotna from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 8. The event includes a no-host bar, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction and information on the proposed sports facility for the peninsula.
