Marissa is a handful.

This two year-old, spayed white and brown short-haired girl is soft as silk and very loving. She would, however, definitely do better in a home with no dogs. Kids and other cats? No problem. It's just that Marissa has very specific tastes and does not 'do dogs.'

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for information.
