Pet of the Week
Jack Russell terriers are movie stars, as seen in “My Dog Skip,” so you’d expect they need a lot of attention and pampering. Jake is no different. This quiet, housetrained 6-year-old guy loves to ride in cars. He’s been home alone a lot, but hey, a star like him needs to get out and see his fans more.
If you’d like to adopt a pet, stop by the Animal Shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for more information.
