Jay Roger Graham, born August 13, 1956, died September 26, 2011, in Anchor Point, Alaska. Jay was married to Lori Blank and father to Stephanie Blank. Jay was a doting husband and a proud father.

A memorial pot luck is 3 p.m. Nov. 12, 2011, at the Anchor River Inn.

Jay served for decades, and received countless awards, as a fire chief/paramedic, saving lives on a daily basis. Jay was a cancer survivor, who focused this gift of life-renewed by discovering his wife and daughter. As a very tight-knit group, they enjoyed more than 13 years of loving, warm, gentle and dedicated family life together.

Jay loved community service, random acts of kindness, fishing, poker and his friends. Jay was a kind and loving soul; a gentle giant.

A memorial account has been set up at First National Bank of Alaska in Homer in Jay Graham's name. The family requests donations, in lieu of flowers.
