Diane Converse has been selected as the Pratt Museum Director and Chief Executive Officer. She starts work on Oct. 26. A welcome reception is 5-7 p.m. Nov. 2 in the upper level of the museum.

The Ritz Art and Adventure fundraiser is 6:30-10 p.m. Nov. 7. This year's theme is "The Fabulous '50s." Tickets are $75.
