Oct. 12

A caller at 11:35 a.m. reported a man driving a pickup truck recklessly on Ben Walters Lane. Several people later made 911 calls of a truck rollover with an injured woman and a dog thrown from the pickup bed.

A man at 11:54 a.m. reported he saw a heater stolen from his porch earlier at a Svedlund Street home.

A woman at 3:43 p.m. reported possible drug activity on Bunnell Avenue.

A woman at 6:23 p.m. asked for police help in a verbal dispute with her son. Police arrested an 18-year-old man for criminal mischief and interfering with a report of domestic violence.

A caller at 10:12 p.m. reported people skateboarding in the middle of the Sterling Highway. Police told the skateboarders to stay off the road.

Oct. 15

Police at 8:30 a.m. served a six-month restraining order on a person.

A man at 1:18 p.m. reported a drunk pedestrian on Pioneer Avenue. The person was taken home by taxi.

Police at 4:46 p.m. issued a summons to an 18-year-old man for not having liability insurance and minor in possession of tobacco.

A man at 4:55 p.m. reported juveniles trespassing on his Rochelle Road neighbor's property. Police contacted the juveniles.

A man at 8:43 p.m. reported a drunk pedestrian on Jenny Way.

A woman at 11:21 p.m. reported finding an unoccupied 1987 Honda that had rolled over near Bishop's Beach.

Oct. 16

A woman at 9:44 a.m. reported hearing shots fired in the Ocean Drive area.

Police at 6:15 p.m. served a temporary restraining order and a trespass notice on a suspect at a Heath Street address.

Oct. 17

A caller at 8:55 a.m. made a 911 call of a man slumped over the wheel of a truck and driving in the center of East End Road. Police contacted the driver and found him to be OK.

A woman at 11:30 a.m. reported fraudulent charges to her bank account.

A woman at 3:10 p.m. asked police to patrol the Kachemak Heritage Land Trust property due to use by vagrants of the area.

A caller at 8:21 p.m. reported a possible counterfeit bill.

A man at 7:32 p.m. reported a possible stolen car. Police determined the car had been loaned to friends.

Oct. 18

A woman at 2:08 p.m. reported two men came onto her East End Road property to shoot rabbits.

A woman at 2:50 p.m. reported a Ford pickup truck had gone over an embankment on East Hill Road with the driver and passenger injured. Police and EMTs responded.

A caller at 5:57 p.m. reported a driver with a suspended license at a Sterling Highway. Police issued a summons for driving while license suspended to a 25-year-old man and for failure to provide proof of insurance to a 21-year-old woman.

Oct. 19

A man at 2:30 p.m. reported people left a Pioneer Avenue restaurant without paying.

A woman at 4:21 p.m. reported her daughter was approached by a suspicious man on Lake Street while she was walking home from school.

Police at 4:30 p.m. tried to arrest a wanted felon on Early Spring Street but could not locate the suspect.

A woman at 7:04 p.m. reported her son assaulted her.

A person at 7:25 p.m. reported a man with a revoked license drove up to the gas pumps at a Sterling Highway station. Police arrested a 25-year-old man for driving while license revoked and a 21-year-old woman for failure to provide proof of insurance.
