Pet of the Week

Freida

Don't hate Freida because she's beautiful. Don't pity her because she's a Cubbies fan. But DO feel sorry for her because she was abandoned and has nobody to love. Freida is a 3-month-old black Lab mix who was found a few days ago at the animal shelter. She spent the first couple days*cowering behind a doghouse, afraid and shy. But talk sweetly to her and her tail starts wagging. Rub her luxurious fluffy fur coat and her warm brown eyes will melt*your heart. With the proper guidance and support, she'll make a wonderful pet and she might even learn to like the Yankees.
