Oct. 14

A juvenile male at 7:49 a.m. came to the police station and asked for information on emancipation.

A woman at 10:19 a.m. reported her brother has been missing for two days and may be suicidal. Police located the brother.

A caller at 11:43 a.m. reported receiving threats over the phone.

A woman at noon reported her son received threats over the phone.

A caller at 2:15 p.m. reported a driver in a red dump truck speeding and going downhill too fast on West Hill Road. Police contacted two drivers and they agreed to slow down.

A woman at 4:11 p.m. reported a customer had threatened her at her Pioneer Avenue business.

Police at 10:34 p.m. confiscated a small amount of marijuana.

Oct. 15

Police at 1:41 a.m. stopped a 21-year-old man driving a motorhome on Diamond Ridge Road after observing erratic driving. Police arrested the man for driving under the influence and driving while license revoked.

A woman at 5:12 a.m. reported a man broke into her Svedlund Street home. Police responded.

A man at 9:20 a.m. turned in a found purse.

A woman at 1:38 p.m. reported an expected death of an 80-year-old woman at her Meadow Drive home.

A woman at 5:13 p.m. made a 911 call of a man attempting to hurt himself. Police responded and the man voluntarily agree to be taken to the hospital.

A man at 9:59 p.m. reported people camping in his yard off the Sterling Highway who refused to leave.

A man at 10:51 p.m. reported a woman standing outside a Pioneer Avenue business. Police responded.

Oct. 17

A man at 8:22 a.m. reported heavy equipment parked without permission on his property on Hohe Street.

A caller at 8:51 a.m. reported a driver in another car hit his car on the Sterling Highway and drove away. The other driver was later contacted.

A caller at 11:41 a.m. reported two vehicles trespassing in a closed area of a Sterling Highway business.

A school official at 1:51 p.m. reported two students with marijuana at Homer High School.

A caller at 3:25 p.m. reported a boy driving aggressively in the Flex School parking lot. The boy left the area when asked.

A caller at 3:45 p.m. reported a theft that happened earlier.

A woman at 11:27 p.m. asked police to contact her boyfriend and tell him not to come to her home that night.

Oct. 18

Police at 3:18 a.m. assisted EMTs with a suicidal woman at a Lee Drive home.

Police at 3:48 a.m. saw a minor in possession of alcohol. Police arrested a 20-year-old man for MCA, habitual.

A woman at 3:58 a.m. reported an animal possibly stuck under her Mission Road home.

A caller at 11:47 a.m. reported an injured moose on Bay Avenue. Police left a message with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

An anonymous man at 2:12 p.m. made a 911 call of a possibly drunk woman on East End Road. The woman told police a man was harassing her. Police contacted the man and warned him not to bother the woman.

A woman at 3:07 p.m. reported receiving harassing calls from various locations.

A man at 7 p.m. asked for information regarding his home built laser and aiming it toward Homer. Police talked to the man.

Oct. 19

A woman at 2:17 p.m. reported a suspicious man selling steaks door to door in the Heidi Court area.

A woman at 4:24 p.m. made a 911 call of a man with a possible drug overdose out of control in her Fairview Avenue home. Police took a 25-year-old man to the hospital and later into protective custody.

A man at 5:11 p.m. reported an injured girl who refused medical transportation. Police contacted the woman and took her to the hospital.

A woman at 6:20 p.m. came to the police station and reported a domestic violence assault. Police arrested a 24-year-old man for domestic violence assault and reckless endangerment.

Oct. 20

A cab company employee at 2:30 a.m. reported a drunk man sleeping in the doorway at a Pioneer Avenue address. Police provided the man a ride home.

A man at 9:09 a.m. reported damage to a rental property on the Sterling Highway.

A woman at 12:19 p.m. reported a man continued to harass her.

A caller at 1:08 p.m. reported seeing a woman driving on Ocean Drive and smoking from what appeared to be a marijuana pipe. Police could not locate the suspect driver.

A woman at 3:36 p.m. reported checks stolen from a car parked on Heath Street.

A man at 3:38 p.m. reported the theft of a 48-foot semi trailer from the Homer Spit.

A caller at 4:10 p.m. reported a man fraudulently solicited business by claiming a similar business no longer operated.

A caller at 5:53 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle in the West Hill Road and Eagleview Road area that has been seen several times over the week.

A caller at 5:56 p.m. made a "report every dangerous driver" complaint of a man driving on Kachemak Drive. Police stopped the suspect and arrested a 54-year-old man for DUI and driving while license revoked.

Oct. 21

A man at 11:45 a.m. reported he lost his cell phone.

A man at 3:34 p.m. reported he lost his back pack.

Oct. 22

A man at 11:38 a.m. reported a man harassed his wife while she was at work.

A woman at 3:41 p.m. reported an aggressive dog wouldn't let her get into her Svedlund Street cabin. Police advised the animal control officer.

Oct. 23

A man at 8:34 p.m. reported he was assault and needed medical attention at an East End Road home. Police responded and arrested a 38-year-old woman for assault.

Oct. 24

A woman at 9:29 a.m. asked for help in locating her son. Police found the child in good care.

A caller at 10:45 a.m. asked to speak to police about a person selling items door to door.

A man at 11:34 a.m. reported finding a bicycle on the Sterling Highway.

A woman at 3 p.m. reported a theft.

Police at 10:20 p.m. stopped a 43-year-old man driving on Pioneer Avenue. They arrested him for DUI, refusal to submit to a chemical test and driving while license suspended.
