Column condescending

Am I the only one who finds Michael Armstrong's piece last week about the occupiers exceedingly condescending toward anyone who has tried to earn a comfortable living and succeeded? If you make a conscious choice to go for the brass ring, you are selfish at best, but basically just plain evil. You have no "compassion." Nobody will help you out of the ditch, nobody will share their fish, you will have no "deep friendships." God forbid you inherited family money. Then you really are scum.

If the job fairy appeared at the occupy event and tempted all the occupiers with a $500,000 per year job, I suppose all the occupiers would turn it down rather than commit the sin of wealth, Michael Armstrong included.
