South Peninsula Hospital Service Area board holds its regular meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 4 in the hospital conference rooms.
South Peninsula Behavioral Health Services meets at 6 p.m. Nov. 4 in the Community Mental Health Center board room on Ben Walters Lane.
Nikolaevsk School holds a "Dreamland Carnival" from 6-8 p.m. in the school gym. Sponsored by the Nikolaevsk Student Council, the event includes games, prizes and fun for children and adults. Tickets are 25 cents, with most games costing two tickets. Call 235-8972.
Rep. Paul Seaton, R-Homer, facilitates a meeting on road maintenance issues for North Fork Road residents at 7 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Anchor Point Senior Center, Mile .25 Milo Fritz Road. The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Homer Elks and other organizations sponsor a Veterans Day Parade and Memorial staring at 10:50 a.m. Nov. 11 at Homer High School. The parade proceeds to the Veterans Memorial at Pioneer Avenue and Lake Street for a short service and the continues down Pioneer Avenue. A lunch follows at noon at the American Legion Post 16 at Mile 2.5 East End Road.
The Alaska State Troopers holds a public meeting on the move of the trooper post to Anchor Point from 6-7 p.m. Nov. 16 at Homer High School. Trooper Capt. Tom Bowman and Sgt. Jim Hibpshman will attend the meeting.
