Homer Veterinary Clinic has been joined by two new doctors: Dr. Vicki Craig, a graduate of Oklahoma State University with 12 years experience working in companion animal medicine and surgery including exotics and birds; and Dr. Jennifer Bando, a 2001 graduate of Guelph University in Ontario, who is excited to work with both small and large animals on the southern Kenai Peninsula.
The clinic also is expanding its hours beginning Nov. 4, to include Saturday mornings from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for routine scheduled appointments.

Chamber raffle drawing Nov. 9
The drawing for the Homer Chamber of Commerce car raffle will begin at 4 p.m. Nov. 9 at the chamber building. Only 500 tickets for the raffle are being sold; 22 prizes will be awarded. The last ticket drawn wins the choice of a Ford F-150 4X4, a Ford Escape or $15,000 cash.
