Mr. Osborn was born Oct. 14, 1955, in Portland, Ore., and was a resident of Alaska from 1997-2000 and 2003-2006. He attended Southwestern Oregon Community College for accounting. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was afilliated with the United Church of God. Gerald enjoyed fishing and airplanes.
“Jerry was a loving and caring father and husband. Jerry enjoyed making people laugh. Jerry had a sense of humor. Jerry loved to walk on the beach with family. He enjoyed being outside in the fresh air,” his family said.
He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn K. Osborn of Homer; son Joshua E. Osborn of Homer; daughter Jennifer E. Osborn of Homer; sister Suzette Clark of Winston, Ore.; and mother Sylvia A. Houseman of Coos Bay, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Betty Osborn and brother John Osborn.
Arrangements were made by Anchorage Funeral Home and Crematory.
