Is it time for moose game farms?

The Alaska Board of Game has another brilliant idea to increase huntable moose populations on the Kenai Peninsula. Aerial wolf and bear shooting to thin out these pesky predators and squeeze in a few more moose is their latest proposal.

It is painful and disturbing to witness year after year the endless slaughter of predators in order to try and create ever more moose for ever more hunters.

Maybe it's time to start moose game farms to bolster populations and try to make improvements to moose habitats other than thinning or controlled burns.

This endless murder of Alaska's iconic wildlife is borderline insane, and no longer acceptable to Alaskans.

The Alaska Board of Game needs to be revamped and brought into the 21st century. Shame, shame, shame on the Alaska Board of Game.
