Former Kenai Peninsula residents Doug and Shana Loshbaugh are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Bonnie Irene Loshbaugh, to Alex Ingerman on Oct, 15, 2011, in Seattle.

Bonnie spent the early part of her life in Homer, graduated from Skyview High School in 2001, then went on to earn degrees in Russian studies and marine affairs. She currently works as a science writer.

Alex is the son of the late Luda and Mikhail Ingerman. He was born in the Ukraine and has lived in the Russian Far East and China. Holding degrees in computer science and medical engineering, Alex works with data science at a Seattle software startup.

The wedding was a small ceremony followed by dinner (including wild Alaska salmon) and dancing in Seattle, where the couple makes their home.
