Grant helps Hospice
Hospice of Homer would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the Rasmuson Foundation for its ongoing support of Hospice, most recently for a generous grant to purchase much needed durable medical equipment for our free medical equipment loan program, and to Alaskare Medical Equipment for giving us a reduced rate on the equipment purchased. As a result, Hospice had the following new equipment available for loan to community members free of charge: one fully electric hospital bed, two over-the-bed tables, two bedside commodes and two wheelchairs.
