Mr. Hall worked in the DM&IR railroad in Minnesota as a car inspector for 34 years. He moved to Anchorage in 1991. He met and married his wife, Viola, in Anchorage in 1997. They moved to Libby, Mont., for a short time and returned to Homer in 2002, where he worked at Safeway.
He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards and hunting. He was a member of the Church Of Christ in Anchor Point.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of nine years, Viola A. Hall of Anchor Point; son and daughter in-law, Larkin John and Wendy Hall of Proctor, Minn.; daughters and sons-in-law, Denise Houle of Cloquet, Minn., Debbie and Dave Kratsas of Anchor Point and Lori and Brian Mitchell of Anchorage; brothers and sisters-in-law Leonard and Pat Hall of Proctor, Minn., Ramon, Leroy and Bill Hall, all of Little Falls, Minn.; and 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by the Homer Funeral Home.

Mr. Hall was born Nov. 20, 1933, to Larkin and Alma (Gish) Hall in Duluth, Minn. He graduated from Proctor High School in Proctor, Minn. He entered the U.S. Army soon after he graduated and served 24 years until he retired from the 367th Engineer Battalion.
