The Kachemak Bay Equestrian Association Annual Membership Meeting is 6 p.m. Monday in the library at the West Homer Elementary School. The evening will include a slideshow recapping the Cottonwood Horse Park season events, election of board members, and refreshments. The Homer Fish and Game Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the NERRS building on Kachemak Drive. Topics will include Prince William Sound, Upper Copper River, and Upper Susitna River Finfish issues and some statewide wildlife issues. The Homer Boys & Girls Club holds an Open House from 5-7 p.m. Nov. 18 at the club in the old Homer Intermediate School building. The Homer Grandparent Support Group meets from 6-7:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at the Homer Senior Center. Grandparent Carol Coleman facilitates the meet. The Christian Science Society, located at 3774 Bartlett Street, will hold a Thanksgiving Day service at 11 a.m. Nov. 24. Hymns, prayer and readings from the King James Bible and correlative passages from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures written by Mary Baker Eddy comprise the service.
