James Buckner, 60, died at Appleton Health Care Center in Wisconsin on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010. He was born Jan. 3, 1950, in Omaha, Neb., to Earn and Alvena Buckner. He graduated from the Delevan School for the deaf in 1969. He worked for J.J. Keller until a disability caused him to retire. He enjoyed visiting his sister and family in Alaska and made his last trip in August.
Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Donald.
He is survived by his sister, Phyllis, and her husband Kevin Kohlbeck of Homer; brother Earl Buckner of Omaha, Neb.; brother Floyd Buckner of Appleton, Wis.; sister-in-law Arlene Buckner of Louisville, Ky.; aunts; an uncle; nieces; nephews; and special friends Ralph, Jon and Larry.
