The bride is the daughter of Alray Carroll and Janet Keating Carroll, both of Homer. Valerie is employed by Alaska Ferry Adventures of Homer. She was attended by her sister Cassidy Carroll as the flower girl, Sara Kaona as matron of honor, and her bridesmaids, Kristina Schlotmann and Annie Ervice. The bride's father gave her away while her uncle, Glen Carroll performed the ceremony.

The groom is the son of Rose Eoff of Stayton, Ore., and David Kinney of Imbler, Ore. Henry was raised in Oregon and came to Alaska after joining the United States Coast Guard. He is now employed by Cook Inlet Marine of Homer. He was attended by his best man, Adam Kinney, and his groomsmen, Simon Kinney and Keoki Kaona.

Family and friends enjoyed a reception lunch of fresh Alaska seafood and smoked turkey and an afternoon of dancing at the Alaska Heavenly Lodge in Cooper Landing. Mr. and Mrs. Kinney will be honeymooning in Kona, Hawaii.
