Gators invade Pickerland

So the Picker was feeling good about the week. With a 10-6 record, he was thinking he finally had started to figure out this whacky NFL season. And after reviewing the first dozen or so participant’s picks, he was right. Then came one from Jennifer McCartney of south Florida. That’s right, not only does Jennifer live in sunny-and-warm Florida while the Picker is chopping wood to get warm, but she got 12 games right in week 10 to take the prize.

Congrats Jennifer, but let this be a lesson to all you northern states pickers out there. That is the third time this year that someone from the state of Florida has won this contest.

The Picker would hate to think the cold weather up here is freezing our brains and leading to bad picks, but it’s an excuse he’s ready to use unless someone north of the Mason-Dixon line pulls out a good week 11. Consider that a Pigskin pep talk. Here’s the picks.
