Gov. Frank H. Murkowski has declared Friday “School Principal Recognition Day.” In an executive proclamation signed Nov. 3, Murkowski said, “Principals are the face of schools in their communities. Each principal is resonsible for fostering a dynamic partnership between the community and the school in order to create a positive learning environment or students.” He went on to say the state recognizes and appreciates the skill, dedication and commitment, as well as the challenges principals face daily.
