Homer Alaska - Letters

My family and I would like to thank all those that participated in the Veterans Day parade and ceremonies. The VFW, active U.S. Coast Guard, American Legion and all the auxiliaries did a fabulous job. The bald eagle flying over after "Taps" was played was an added bonus.

I would, however, like to place a request/complaint to the city of Homer. We found it very disrespectful that you did not close the street off to traffic during the ceremony before the parade and request that you please do so in future years.
