Getting help in Homer

* Alcoholics Anonymous - meets in Homer at noon and 8 p.m., Suite 1, Hillas Building, Pioneer Avenue. (235-6288) AA meets in Anchor Point on Wednesday and Friday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday at noon. Anchor River Grocery, second floor.

* Al-Anon - Homer (hope for families and friends of alcoholics), meets every Monday at 6:30 p.m. Suite 1, Hillas Building, Pioneer Avenue. (235-6413)

* Cook Inlet Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse - fee-based outpatient drug and alcohol counseling, group sessions and urine analysis. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Suite 11, Hillas Building, Pioneer Avenue. (235-8001)
