Nutcracker Faire is Dec. 5-6

Coinciding with the opening weekend of the Nutcracker Ballet is the Homer Council on the Arts annual Nutcracker Faire. About 100 vendors sell art, crafts and food in the Homer High School commons and Alice Witte Gym. Kachemak Kids provides children's activities. Nonprofit organizations also will provide information on activities. The faire is 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 and noon-6 p.m. Dec. 6.
