We appreciate the 50 exhibitors who took the time to reach out to the public with their messages of healthy living, the Alaska Blood Bank for traveling to Homer to conduct a blood drive, and the many exhibitors and merchants who donated door prizes. Finally, thanks to First National Bank of Alaska and Wells Fargo Bank for the funding which allowed Rotary to make 20 complimentary blood tests available to Homer's indigent residents. This initiative was truly heartfelt.
This year's fair went so smoothly because everyone pitched in to make it so. See you at next year's health fair in November 2004.
Susan Kernes, co-coordinator, Homer Kachemak Bay Rotary
