The KSC hosted the Turkey Time Invite Friday and Saturday, with swimmers from Soldotna and Kenai aged 8 to 16 competing in a variety of events. Friday saw the entire KSC roster try for fast times in the grueling 500-yard freestyle event, a long-distance event that many of the swimmers had never tried before. Monday, the swimmers also competed in time trials seeking age group qualifying times for a Dec. 8 meet in Ketchikan.
