Pet of the Week
Cats are well known for their cleanliness, stealth and superior nighttime vision. Take away a cat's vision and his world becomes scary and confusing. Such is Moe's life. He is essentially blind, though it seems he may be able to discern lights and shadows. Moe is sweet and devoted, but shy and tentative until he feels comfortable in his surroundings. He's neutered, about a year old and he will need a quiet, consistent home where the people and other animals will be patient with him and willing to give him the special attention he needs.

If you'd like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the Animal Shelter on the Bypass across from the post office. The shelter is open seven days a week, 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. Call 235-3141, e-mail pow@homeranimals.com, or visit the shelter's Web site at www.homeranimals.com.
