Dancers rehearse at Homer High School recently for this year's performance of the Nutcracker Ballet, which starts Dec. 3 at the Mariner Theatre. For those looking to get into the spirit this week, the Pratt Museum holds its Stocking Stuffer Party from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday complete with Santa, holiday music and seasonal activities for the kids. All you need to bring is a little holiday cheer. If a more literary gift is on your must-find list, visit the Homer Bookstore for a gathering of authors and booksigning of "Invisible Ink" a collection of stories by members of Homer Writer's Group on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.
