The Homer Glacier Kings under-18 hockey team won two games and lost two at the Invitational Hockey Tournament in Homer over the Weekend.
The team, consisting mostly of Homer High School players, beat Kenai 3-2 and Mat-Su 2-1. They lost to Eagle River twice, 1-4 on Saturday and again 0-1 in the semifinals Sunday.
The wins bode well for future Homer High games as the Kenai squad consists of players from Kenai High School and Soldotna, while the Mat-Su team is filled with players from Wasilla and Palmer, said coach John Butcher.
