Engagement: Anna Smith and Kenneth Seavey

Anna Leah Smith of Fritz Creek and Kenneth Miyazaki Seavey of Kenai will be married in a private ceremony Dec. 26, 2009. A wedding reception, sledding party and potluck will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Kilcher Homestead, Mile 11 East End Road.

The bride is the daughter of Bennett and Fay Smith of Homer. The groom is the son of Robert and Yasuko Seavey of Antioch, Calif. He is employed by Chevron.

Guests are asked to bring a favorite dish to share and their sleds.
