The Center South Peninsula Behavioral Health Services announces the hiring of David Branding, Ph.D., as its new CEO as of Dec. 1.

Branding comes from northern Michigan and has 30 years experience providing, leading and administering a wide range of recovery-oriented and community-based services serving people across their lifespan and in a variety of health, human services, educational and rehabilitation systems.

"With a background in health-care quality and accreditation, he emphasizes team building within organizations and strong community collaboration pursuing the goal of helping people improve their own quality of life," according to a press release from The Center.

The community is invited to an open house from 4-5:30 p.m. today at The Center, 3948 Ben Walters Lane, to meet Branding and welcome him to the community.
