Several volunteers cook dinner for all veterans and their families and all of the crew and their families that serve on the U.S. Coast Guard cutters Sedge and Roanoke Island. This dinner is free to those military people who have served and are serving our country and maintaining the freedom we all have today.
Bob has been doing this for us since 1990, and we can't thank him enough for his support. Thank you, Bob!
We also want to thank Bear Claw Bakery for its support, also, as they donated one dozen pies to help us out on the dessert line. This was a really kind gesture, and we appreciate your thoughtfulness.
Again, thank you both very much.
Willie Flyum, house committee chairman, Bonnie Nelson, exalted ruler, Homer Elks Lodge #2127
