Dec. 8

A business at 9:38 a.m. reported a possible theft by an employee.

A woman at 9:55 a.m. reported a pickup truck with an unsecured load dropping logs on East End Road.

Police at 10:30 a.m. served a stalking protective order at a Mountain View Drive home.

A man at 4:47 p.m. turned in a two-way radio he found.

A woman at 6:02 p.m. reported a child left unattended in a car parked on Main Street.

Dec. 9

A caller at 9:51 a.m. reported a car seat in the road on Pioneer Avenue.

A man at 12:31 p.m. reported a man at a Lake Street store tried to return items for cash that had not been purchased. The man left when confronted.

A caller at 2:35 p.m. reported an alleged violation of a stalking protective order. Police responded and determined there had not been a violation. The suspect was served a stalking protective order.

Police at 6:52 p.m. arrested a 30-year-old man on Kachemak Drive for driving under the influence. A 31-year-old male passenger was arrested on a warrant.

Police at 10:34 p.m. arrested a 51-year-old woman near Mile 3 East End Road for DUI.

A caller at 11:46 p.m. reported a drunk person driving away from a Pioneer Avenue bar. Police couldn't find the suspect.

Dec. 10

Police at 1:27 a.m. arrested a 21-year-old man on East Hill Road for DUI.

Police at 3:28 a.m. arrested a 51-year-old man on Pioneer Avenue for DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

A caller at 11:04 a.m. reported a man with what appeared to be a rifle going into the woods near Jennifer Place. The caller suspected the man might be hunting.

A woman at 5:08 p.m. made a 911 call that she hit a moose on East Hill Road. Police responded and found the moose was OK.

A caller at 7:53 p.m. reported a drunk man walking in the middle of Pioneer Avenue.

Dec. 11

Police at 12:21 a.m. did a welfare check on two men.

Police at 12:26 a.m. found an iPod in the driveway of a Pioneer Avenue business.

Police at 12:15 a.m. assisted a driver on an icy roadway on East End Road.

Police at 2:49 a.m. received a report of men yelling at each other near Mile 1.5 East End Road. Police responded but could not find any suspects.

Police at 3:35 a.m. arrested a 26-year-old man on the Sterling Highway for driving while license revoked.

Police at 7:05 a.m. issued a summons to a 46-year-old man for driving while license revoked.

An off-duty officer at 9:32 a.m. reported a drunk woman on Soundview Avenue. Police responded and got the woman home safely.

A person at 12:49 p.m. reported a semi-tractor trailer jackknifed in the road on the Sterling Highway. Police responded and contacted the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, who said the road had just been sanded.

A woman at 5:33 p.m. reported a man violated a restraining order by calling her on the phone. Police arrested a 45-year-old man for violating a restraining order.

A man at 9:46 p.m. made a 911 call of an argument between himself and a drunk woman at a Pioneer Avenue address. Police responded and arrested a 40-year-old woman for disorderly conduct and being a drunk person at licensed premises.

An off-duty officer at 1:33 a.m. and 1:36 a.m. reported vehicles in the ditch on West Hill Road and Alpine Way.
