Still looking for that perfect Christmas tree? Stop by the Safeway parking lot Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. to see the trees being sold by the Polushkin family, with help from friend Mary Baringer. This is the second year (from left) Gregory Polushkin, Sergei Polushkin, Baringer, and Kiril Polushkin have sold trees cut from the Polushkin family’s land on East End Road. And if you’re in need of some holiday goodies, step inside Safeway, there the Polushkins and Baringer have a table spread with a variety of homemade treats. Also involved in the family endeavor, but not pictured, is Uliana Polushkin.
