Kenai River Campus calls for proposals

The Kenai Peninsula College, Kenai River Campus, requests proposals from artists for the base of a sign at the corner of Kalifornsky Beach Road and College Road in Soldotna.

There are no specific guidelines for material, approach and form, but pieces can reflect the campus location on the Kenai Peninsula. Artists can visit the site 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. A request for proposal and photos of the site is online at www.kpc.alaska.edu.

The deadline to submit is 5 p.m. March 1, with finalists selected by March 31. The budget is $15,000. Work must be finished by Aug. 1.
