Lighting the way

Walt and Shirley Henwood have been displaying Christmas lights at their home for more than two decades. It's all Walt's doing says Shirley, who takes no credit for her husband's homemade welded animals and the lighting. The couple have lived in Homer since 1966, and moved into their home on the Homer Hill in 1973. Walt learned to weld when he worked on Cook Inlet oil platforms.
