Homer resident Bradley Dale Emmett died Dec. 6, 2010, of cancer, at his home. He was 61.

No memorial services were held.

Mr. Emmett was born July 14, 1949, to Jane Tilstra and William Henry Emmett, in Lodi, Calif. He served in the Army during Vietnam and later worked as a painter. He enjoyed fishing, playing games on his computer, and surfing the Internet.

Mr. Emmett was preceded in death by his father, William Emmett.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, of Homer; son, Jamey Emmett, of Lodi; daughter, Tiffany Gracey, of Greenfield, Calif.; brother, Steve Emmett, of West Point, Calif.; grandchildren, Cody, Emily and Shannon Gracey, all of Greenfield; and Jamey Emmett, of Lodi; and mother, Jane Tilstra, of Stockton, Calif.
