It has been about 10 weeks in between wins for the Picker, so he’s pretty excited about it, to say the least. This win also nixed what would have been his New Year’s resolution — stop picking NFL games — so there will be more chances for all you Picklers to win in 2007.
Speaking of 2007, which the Picker is calling “The Year of the Cutler,” (did you watch the new Broncos QB against the Bungles?) here are the first picks of the New Year. Well, actually they are the last picks of this year, but who’s counting.
Week 17
New Orleans over Carolina
Houston over Cleveland
Dallas over Detroit
Jacksonville over Kansas City
New England over Tennessee
NY Jets over Oakland
Cincinnati over Pittsburgh
Seattle over Tampa Bay
St. Louis over Minnesota
San Diego over Arizona
Philadelphia over Atlanta
Baltimore over Buffalo
Indianapolis over Miami
Denver 28 over San Francisco 14
Green Bay 21 over Chicago 18
Not one to brag, the Picker would first like to thank all the little people that helped make this possible. First off, he’d like to thank Cole Dogg, who didn’t pick this week. Second, to the folks from the state of Florida who did pick, but didn’t make the cut. And third, to Mr. Varney who threw the game this week just to make it fair.
