Watching the games this weekend, I was thinking “The Picker is going to get crushed this week.”
Cincinnati was losing to Buffalo, St. Louis was losing to San Francisco, Philadelphia was losing to Arizona.
It just didn’t make any sense.
So I get to Pigskin headquarters Tuesday, with my sorry 9-7 Week 16 record, and start tabulating.
Wouldn’t you know it, no one did any better.
Maybe you were going soft on me? Feeling like it’s better to give than receive? Well, whatever your motivation, thank you. Even the Picker needs some holiday cheer once in a while.
