Kudos to the Chamber of Commerce board of directors. On behalf of myself, my fellow charter operators and the community of Homer, I thank you for voting to actively oppose the proposed charter IFQ measure. I realize that the potential social pressures and ramifications made this a very sensitive issue. I commend you for adhering to the chamber's missions and values statement by viewing this issue with the entire community as your focus. I appreciate the hours spent reviewing and discussing all of the submitted recommendations. Excellent work in following the diplomatic process thoroughly and objectively.
