Anniversary: Teri and Mark Robl, 1977-2017

Mark and Teri Robl

1977 – 2017

Mark and Teri Robl are celebrating 40 years of marriage.

They were married in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Dec. 23, 1977. Teri was 18 and Mark was 19. They had a beautiful Christmas wedding.

Mark was enlisted in the U.S. Navy and they moved to San Diego, California. While in the Navy, Mark was stationed in Great Lakes, Illinois; Pensacola, Florida, and Adak, Alaska. They both fell in love with Alaska and have made it their home for the last 38 years. Alaska is a wonderful place to raise the boys and have lots of fun adventures with them.

Their son Robert was born in Pensacola and son David was born on Adak. Robert is attending medical school and David works on the North Slope and is married to Alyssa Prince Robl. David and Alyssa have blessed the Robl family with a handsome and happy grandson, Kase, who is the light of their lives.

They share a love of fishing and whale watching on the bay, catching big king salmon, Alaska’s nature and grand outdoors, enjoying winter and their cabin on Caribou Lake, visiting Wisconsin and attending Packer games, eating good cheese and Teri’s gourmet cooking, and spending time with their wonderful family and special friends.

Mark and Teri have enjoyed quite the journey over the last 40 years and look forward to many continued adventures and lots of fun together.
